Family Music Lessons with Rocknoceros!
Parents : Do you ever wish you could play an instrument? Do you like to sing with your children?
Do you think learning to play and sing is too difficult?
It is not too difficult! Let us show you the basics.
With our lesson program, you can play and learn at your own pace.
Our growing video library provides useful material for all levels of interest:
Sing along with Rocknoceros as we cover classic songs.
Learn to play chords on the ukelele to accompany your family jam.
Learn basic concepts of rhythm and be a time keeper.
Learn about chord progressions and master the language of song!
We do not use sheet music (also known as standard notation). Sheet music is great, but our method is to achieve group singing and playing without getting stuck on the melody. We think that rhythm and chord understanding is important for all beginners.
To get the most from the lessons, we encourage you to get a ukulele. They are inexpensive and lots of fun. (Expect to pay around $50-$60 for a good ukulele.)
We will also use percussion, guitars, keyboards, stuff around the house, and our voices.
Ages 6 and up will be able to join in on the ukulele. Younger kids will be able to clap, sing, shake shakers, and dance.
New videos are posted about once a week. Complete access to the video library costs only $10/month.
Enrollment in Family Music Lessons also gives you access to The Rockno Report, the official Rocknoceros Fan Club newsletter!

Here’s a sample of a lesson where we sing, “Down By the Bay”.
You can sing along. Even better, you can learn how to lead the whole family in a sing-along!
